Good news for domestic violence victims

Those who distribute sexually explicit material without the subject's consent with the intent to threaten, coerce or intimidate would be subject to fines and possible jail time under Michigan's proposed "revenge porn" legislation. The bills passed in the House of Representatives unanimously Wednesday, April  27, 2016.

John Worsfold licensed to practice in multiple states

Attorney John Worsfold is now licensed to practice in Michigan, California and Montana.

Congratulations to our own Kurt Killman who has successfully tried 4 cases since December 1, 2015 on behalf of Auto Owners Insurance policyholders. Three of the trials resulted in defense verdicts. The fourth resulted in a verdict of $90,000, beating the case evaluation award of $225,000 and the plaintiff's last demand of $195,000. He is now gearing up for three more trials scheduled in the next month.
